Digital Jingle PT38
The digital jingle machine PT38 is one of those mile-stone in the digital audio broadcasting. As all other previous CEPAR digital jingle machine even this one is a stand-alone unit, that means, no further additional or external equipment is required. The built-in display and keyboard on the front panel are all you need. A light display have been chosen not a liquid crystal one, so it can be clearly seen from a considerable distance. Two stereo outputs give to the DJ the possibility to mix the jingles to his own taste. In the "live mode" you can have up to 32 keys where each one is programmed to a specific jingle. The start of it is instantaneous as soon as you press the desired key. A light at the side of each key shows the selected one or if other keys have been pre-selected, they can than be sent automatically or one-by-one.
JINGLE-KEY MODE
A special keyboard with 32 keys can be connected to the PT38. The keys are ordered in two lines each for a stereo channel. To each key a jingle is memorised and it can be sent on-air straightaway just pressing the assigned key. The addressing of the different jingles can be done either through a PC or with the incorporated keyboard on the PT38. There are 32 addressing keys, but on request, they can be less.
For an easy recognition of the jingles a labelholder has been placed at the side of each key as well as a led that will lit when the key has been pressed.
According to the chosen modus this keyboard gives you the possibility to send rightaway the desired jingle when pressing the key or pre-setting it and send it on-air through a key onto the mixer.
It is even possible to recall a new jingle and queue it to the running one or replace it immediately. A series of lights will always indicate what is happening on the keyboard.
TWO STEREO OUTPUTS
If a jingle machine wishes to substitute the NAB audio cassettes, must have the possibility to mix or fade two jingles as the DJ will like to do. The PT38 has two stereo outputs which connected to the relative mixer inputs will be sent as soon as the DJ will slide up the cursor. Due to the access time that is virtually zero, the same jingle can be immediately recall, stopped or monitored and, of course, always ready to be put on-air.
The introduction of the PT38, with or without PC, eliminate definitively the use of conventional tapes or cassettes.
The transfer of audio information - because digital - can be done as many times as wished without loosing quality, time or making unnecessary
mistakes.
